This is a great old decorative tin with two Vincent Van Gogh images on it. One on each side. The cover side is a detail from Van Gogh's "The Langlois Bridge at Aries". Many people consider this painting his finest! On the back of the tin is Van Gogh's "Landscape with Vegetable Flowers." This painting is regarded as one of Van Gogh's finest landscapes. The warm colors reflect the serenity of Aries where he worked for two years. This Sunshine Tin measures 4" deep x 13 1/2" diameter and has only a couple of little dings and some loss of finish in places, mostly edges (see photos.) The best side is the back with the Vegetable Flowers painting on it. The Langlois Bridge is slightly faded and obviously was displayed more than "Flowers". A must for Vincent Van Gogh collectors. It's hard for us to part with this tin!
