Shipping

We pack all items with the greatest of care and the majority of items, because of their unique and fragile nature, will ship U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail, Delivery Confirmation, Insured within the USA, as well as Global Priority Mail where applicable outside of the USA.

Some items will ship by other means depending on their value and/or fragility and their destination. Certain items of an extremely fragile and/or valuable nature will not be shipped, but will be sold on a pick up basis only.

Each item is listed with an approximate shipping weight which includes the weight of materials to properly package and ship your order.

Purchase of multiple items may cost less in shipping than the sum of the individuals.

If you would like to save on shipping costs please contact us to make arrangements for pick up or for partial delivery where applicable.

We encourage you to please reuse or recycle packing materials.

Ordering

You may order by phone, fax, e-mail or regular mail. (Please see printable order form available on site). Because we operate on a“first come, first serve” basis, if you send your order by regular mail you should contact us by phone, fax, or E-mail to let us know so that we can place the item/items on “hold”.

You may send your order at any time. However, if your order comes in on the weekend, you may not receive a response until Monday.Art of Ages is operated solely by the two of us (see “About Us”) and our facility is quite large. In order to maintain a full and attractive Web gallery and efficient service for our customers we may not always be able to answer the phone. If you wish to place an order by phone and we do not answer, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

We ask that you please place phone orders between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday Eastern Standard Time, USA.

When we receive your order we will place the item/items on “hold” until we receive payment.

We will let you know when your order has been shipped.

We accept personal checks (check must clear prior to shipment of order), Cashier’s checks and money orders made payable to Art of Ages.We also accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover Credit Card payments.

Returns and Refunds

It is our intention that the customer be 100% satisfied with their purchase. If for any reason you feel that the description or visual images of an item have mislead you in the purchase of an item, we will be happy to refund the purchase price of that item if it is returned in the same condition in which it was shipped. However, we will not be responsible for damage to an item during shipping (items are shipped insured) and will not be able to refund shipping costs.

We try to be very thorough in our descriptions and visual images of items, including pointing out age marks, repairs, etc. Therefore, because many of our products are one of a kind, we ask that you study the descriptions and visual images carefully and be sure to ask questions if you need to do so. We welcome your inquires and comments.

Privacy

Art of Ages maintains a strict privacy protocol for all customer information. We do not share, trade or sell our customer’s personal information. Such information will be used only to keep our customers informed as to what is happening here at Art of Ages, if you choose to be on our mailing list. Any credit card information will be destroyed as soon as the transaction has been completed and the customer is satisfied with their purchase.
